Pamela Anderson looking for a sperm donor

anderson-lee-pamela-photo-pamela-anderson-lee-6202160.jpg

Luckily, The Sun is there:

SHAPELY Pamela Anderson may turn to a sperm donor to have another baby.

The former Baywatch star - who already has two sons with ex-lover Tommy Lee - says she might choose to have another child with an anonymous father.

When asked about having more children Pammy told Heat magazine: "I don't know, maybe I have to find a good sperm donor. Sometimes I think I'd like to have another baby.

"I really love children, and once you have two you might as well have ten. But if I do have more kids, it'll have to be soon - before I'm 40."

Besides the bewildering astonishment of creating the Pamela Anderson category just now, it's a sad day when your greatest accomplishment so far is starring in Baywatch. 10 years ago. Time is not kind to the fairer sex.

And that's just it: Pamela Anderson has a career built on her sexuality, and she, like every other woman on the planet, can't defy the effects of age on her psyche. It's most prominent with her latest pair of store-boughts, them thing are huge. Dwindling popularity, and Jessica Alba and that ilk are just a part of the cruel joke God's played on women.

It's been said, to me, by several women, that's it's just not fair that women get worse with age, and men get better. Sadly, in the world of entertainment and celebrity, this is more true than in the real world. It is not uncommon for a man in his 40s or 50s, such as Sean Connery or Pierce Brosnan cast beside Catherine Zeta Jones or Halle Berry.

But that, apparently, is what people want to see. A distinguished leading man, and the young, beautiful actress. Surgery and make-up have extended the age that women can appear "young," as Demi Moore and Rene Russo are doing nude scenes after 40, and Sharon Stone is marketing a movie on it. Still, it's a glorification of beauty, an objectification.

Yeah, I know, this isn't the usual Pop! story, but if it weren't for Pamela being 4 years older than I, her aging wouldn't really matter to me. All through my college years, every once in a while there'd be yet another Pamela Anderson (Lee) Playboy issue. I swear, I don't think she remained clothed for 20 strait minutes from 1990-1997. 40 years from now, my children (and I'm sure there's at least a couple of them out there somewhere) will tell their children about how Pamela Anderson was the sex-symbol of the 90s.

She was. In the 90s. But those days are fading fast. But I will remember her, as she was.

And no, you can't have my sperm, ya frick'n Canadian...

Tim:

Baywatch? You mean she starred in something else besides the Tommy Lee video? Her kids have got to be proud of their mommy. Imagine bringing Mom's film career to show and tell. "This is my mom before she bought a case of Dow Corning silicone caulk. This is after. This is Mom on film, making me, with a scuzzed out rocker. Here's Mom starring opposite David Hasselhoff. And here's a picture of my new brother. We don't know who his Dad is, so we just call him Uncle anonymous."

If I recall correctly, she had a short-lived "detective" series -- very campy, somewaht humorous, horrid acting. And then she was in the comedy series on a major network about 2 guys that owned a bookstore or something. Made a short splash a year or two ago. For about 2 months -- ahh, yes series was titled "Stacked".

She's my hero. We're the same age & she's my inspiration to keep my looks up & not be afraid of public opinion. Your postings do not reflect appreciation for one of the great pop culture icons of all time. Sour grapes?
