KFed and his big get (Wizbang Pop!)

Say you're a struggling musician, just trying to hustle your way into the music industry. You're really good, and all you need is that break. You've got this party scheduled for people to listen to your new tracks. It's really good stuff, you just need that right person to hear it.

You know what I'm talking about, that person that's behind the velvet rope, somebody on the inside. If you could just get that one name on the invite list, people would take you seriously. They call it the "big get." A recognizable name that'll give you the attention you deserve. Getting the right person on the guest list - and having them show up - will make, or break, your career.

Now, let's change that scenario a little. Let's say this struggling artist is Kevin Federline. Now, before you wonder about where I'm going with this, you have to realize, KFed is neither struggling, nor deserving. We've all had the chance to sample us some Popozow or however you spell it, and were he not Mr. Britney Spears, he'd be getting the William Hung treatment.

However, TMZ.com reports that KFed actually got a name-artist to show at the party. Yeah, I was stunned, too. He actually convinced a real artist with talent to show at this thing. Who, pray tell, is this name artist? Who is KFed's big get?

Britney Spears.

You know, at least Yoko Ono got some royalties from a several years of Beatles goodness, before she broke up the band. Knocking up Britney while she can still make you money? Bad move.
