The character of Marissa Cooper (Mischa Barton) was last seen dying in the arms of Ryan after a fiery crash in the season-three finale of FOX's The O.C and there was much rejoicing in the gossipville and much sadness in teenage girls and fanboys everywhere.
Marissa fans aren't taking this lying down, they're mobilizing...
- We've supported this show and this character for years, and we deserve more than to be given NO hope after three years of laughing, crying, and feeling along with Marissa. This is also to show support for Marissa's wonderful portrayer Mischa Barton, who gave the character everything she had and deserved more than to have her killed. The important thing to remember is even if Mischa isn't on the show, Marissa does not have to be dead.
There is only one possible answer to that level of desperation...
