The work that Clay does for children with developmental disabilities and his Unicef Ambassador Missions are far more important and help the world's children. Sorry to burst ya'lls bubble, but as a resident of NC, where Clay lives, it is well known that Clay has been with a very nice young woman that he has known for years. She was even at his AI wildcard show with him. They at least seem to be very serious about each other. What does it matter if he is gay? It is not relevant to his music. If he was obviously heterosexual, his sexuality would not be an issue.

I agree with many of you who say it doesn't matter if he's gay or not, thanks for saying that! With that said, he's gay as a giggle! He was at a press conference and didn't respond to that question which is his right but if he's not gay he would say it. A friend of mine who's in the army had a a fling with him so if he's not gay, then anyone's not gay! It's sad that actors and singers can't come out for fear of losing endorsements, money, extended contracts etc. Most of these people that work behind the scenes are gay but then are homophobic, don't get it, oh well, he'll eventually be like Lance Bass, once he's got all the money in the world and no need to produce more albums he'll come out, hello, there's too many people around him to not be able to hide his sexual orientation which once again shouldn't be a big deal but people get real it is if you were in his position!!

I am not a personal "fan" of clay Aiken, and I don't particularily like his music, but I have read his autobiography and there is absolutely nothing in there that even slightly hints that he's gay. He claims to be a christian with christian-based values and I strongly believe that he is. He has said over and over that he is not gay- wouldn't a guy who actually is gay get tired of defending himself? And why else to people assume he's gay?Is it because of the way he looks???
