It appears that the question of whether the federal government is going to bail out the state of California has been rendered moot. Two large banks have announced that they...

It's 1994. The GOP promised to dismantle social programs, cut taxes and balance the budget. Newt Gingrich massaged the message, and the "Me Generation" bought it hook, line and sinker. This was the new GOP, and they had made...

I speculated recently that the worm may be turning as it relates to the Obama administration's political capital. The near Teflon like protection that a fawning press afforded him is...

Unfortunately the family of Michael Jackson really failed to effectively invest or manage their money very well despite huge success, leaving the family mostly in serious financial straits. There were reports that Michael Jackson might have died with up to...

In it's first major oil deal with a foreign country since the American and British effort to bring down Saddam Hussein, China will end up winning a $3 billion contract to develop oil in Iraq. It is the first major...

Another day, another Obama infomercial. President Barack Obama held a townhall style meeting today, one in which the audience was "hand-picked" by White House staffers. It was conveniently "moderated" by...

The president's apologists at The New York Times are putting the best possible spin on the administration's economic forecasting failures. That the Times is even writing about this subject indicates...

Unbelievably, the EU commissioners are now moving ahead with plans to impose a new 10% tax on mobility scooters imported into Europe, often manufactured in the United States. But some like physicist Stephen Hawking are angry as this will dramatically...

At least Lane didn't try to look for a loophole in the situation. He made the right choice by facing it 100%, showing remorse and accepting his sentence. That shows character. It seems rare these days that someone takes responsibility, because of the appearance of "special treatment" some celebs get. He has my respect. I'd definitely be more willing to watch him in a movie or TV show after he leaves prison because of the way he has handled things.

Hey, Jason get your facts straight. The child molestor did try to worm his way out of it in court. His defense for groping the girls was "that is the kind of outrageous behavior my fans expect from me. I don't think anyone would ever expect him to grope or molest children. I don't think that is owning up to his disgusting actions. Apparently it is something that doesn't bother you and you feel you need to defend, which I find pretty disturbing. I wouldn't leave you in a room alone with my children.
