It appears that the question of whether the federal government is going to bail out the state of California has been rendered moot. Two large banks have announced that they...

It's 1994. The GOP promised to dismantle social programs, cut taxes and balance the budget. Newt Gingrich massaged the message, and the "Me Generation" bought it hook, line and sinker. This was the new GOP, and they had made...

I speculated recently that the worm may be turning as it relates to the Obama administration's political capital. The near Teflon like protection that a fawning press afforded him is...

Another day, another Obama infomercial. President Barack Obama held a townhall style meeting today, one in which the audience was "hand-picked" by White House staffers. It was conveniently "moderated" by...

Unbelievably, the EU commissioners are now moving ahead with plans to impose a new 10% tax on mobility scooters imported into Europe, often manufactured in the United States. But some like physicist Stephen Hawking are angry as this will dramatically...

No one says you have to sell your soul cheap. Still, no reason for them to miss out on their residuals from the internet.

Great post. It is nice to see the earning of TV writers. Not that great luck for us though.

Ok, let's compare that to what the average lawyer makes for writing verbose legalese crap that no one reads or is entertained by, but stifles creativity, business and life in general.
Pay them and let's move on.

Let them stay on strike. This is the same group of knuckleheads that took the name "Californication" and Dani California from the Chilli Peppers (see above) and claim to know nothing of the Chilli Peppers albums!
Rot people.

These writers should all be fired and they should bust up that GREEDY union in a heartbeat.
Their writing pretty much sucks.
There are many non-union writers out there who can write far better than any of these striking monkeys.
Look at all the "other" people affected by the greedy writers. Support staffs etc. The writers don't give a rats ass about them.
Fire The Greedy Writers NOW!
